When using auctionhouserestaurant.co.uk you agree to accept our terms and conditions. We reserve the right change the terms and conditions; any changes made will be updated on the website. In using this website, you have agreed to the use of cookies and understand what this means. The above-named website is operated by Restaurant Auction House and references to “we”, “us” and “our” shall be deemed to be references to Restaurant Auction House, any references to “you “and “your” are references to the user of the website.


Upon booking you will be required to enter personal information such as telephone number, email address and card details. These details are all kept in line with current GDPR regulations and are not sold to any third party agents. 


Whilst we are happy to cater for most food allergies, we require at least 48 hours’ notice before you arrive. If you and/or any of your guests have an allergy of any kind, then please call us before you book so that we can note this for our chefs. Please note that if you do not advise us of the allergy then we may not be able to cater for you on the day. We always follow good practice however all food dishes are prepared and cooked in the same environment and cannot guarantee it is completely allergen free.


If you or your guests follow a pescatarian or vegetarian diet, we will require at least 48 hours’ notice before you arrive. We advise these guests order the chef’s selection.  A la Carte menu will be available but may have limited choice. At this time, we are unable to cater for vegan and dairy free diets.  


All bookings are secured with credit/debit card details at the time of booking. No deposit will be taken. However, due to the intimate nature of the restaurant we do have a cancellation policy. All cancellations must be made by email at least 48 hours in advance of the booking date. Any cancelations after this time may be charged at £50 per reservation if the table is not filled. The cancellation fee covers food, drink and staffing arranged in anticipation of your arrival, and loss of income from an empty table. The cancellation fee also applies to no shows. Cancellations moved to another date before the 48 hour notice period will not be subject to any fee. You will receive an email reminder of your booking within 7 days of your arrival, in a bid to avoid any unnecessary charges. 


Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise specified. Restaurant Auction House reserves the right to refuse vouchers after the expiry date. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift Vouchers sent in the post will have additional postal fees as agreed at the time of purchase. You must declare your voucher at the time of booking. Please present your gift voucher upon arrival. Gift vouchers are redeemable against food and drink at Restaurant Auction House, any other outstanding charges should be paid in full before leaving. Gift vouchers are not to be used in conjunction with special events, unless the voucher specifically refers to the event and has the correct date. When purchasing a voucher, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as stated here. 


When purchasing items from the Restaurant Auction House Shop, all orders will be paid in full at the time of purchase. Online orders will be subject to postage agreed at the time of sale, and items will be posted within 2 working days of placing the order. Items ordered for pick up will need to be picked up from the Restaurant location within operating hours, (Wednesday -Saturday). Any items purchased are for personal and domestic use only and not for resale. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. No refunds or exchanges are offered for gift vouchers.
